The Social Services Department has a broad area of responsibility that includes authority exercise and preventive measures, with reception and investigation units, outpatient care, family law, financial assistance, and an operational unit that works with preventive measures.

The workplace is located in Märsta, a two-minute walk from the station.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reception and preliminary assessment of reports of concern and applications
• Conversations with children and young people, adults, and families
• Assessment of needs related to substance abuse and dependency
• Collaboration with schools, healthcare, police, addiction care, and other stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

• Educated social worker with good knowledge of applicable legislation
• Previous experience in authority exercise (work with children and young people is an advantage)
